About the role:
As an Area Manager you will be responsible for targeted supply acquisition of Hotel Chains via both telesales and field sales for your assigned territories. You will build Impala's strong market presence in your assigned region by collaborating with other teams as the local in-market expert. You will drive all phases of supply acquisition and market success, including acquisition strategy development, generating and converting ‘must win’ supply leads. You will help develop and iterate scalable localised acquisition strategies ultimately ensuring our long-term market success.
Our ideal candidate is excited about delivering value to attract and close large new hotel partners. Capable of managing sales pipeline activities and a high number of daily calls to win potential customers, and enjoys working in a small but highly skilled team where their personal development is a priority.

- You have experience building and closing a sales pipeline through high velocity outbound telesales
- Directly acquire medium sized hotel chains to meet and exceed your cycle (2 month) goals
- Create and deploy scaled strategies to effectively meet and acquire the top percentage of key accounts in your region
- Analyse data and utilise data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities in your region to drive increase in sales
- Prospect and acquire new, high quality supply in your assigned geography by meeting potential customers through a mixture of scheduled meetings and attendance at trade shows
- Represent Impala in external meetings with hotels and at industry conferences
- Educate potential clients on our product and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop strong and long lasting partnerships with strategic small and medium sized chains
- Develop deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing and customer support teams to ensure our long-term market success.

Check in with us if this sounds like you:
- 2+ years experience in sales, closing deals and exceeding quota.
- Business fluency in English and additional European language
- Proven track record of being able to effectively work a leads pipeline and/or a book of business
- Experience in sales within hospitality/travel industry
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Charismatic self-starter who is resourceful and self-sufficient
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
- Hard working with a strong desire to win
- Comfortable working remotely
