We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and executing various HR operational activities, ensuring smooth HR processes, and supporting the overall HR function for US-based employees. 

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the administration of US employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth benefits enrollment, changes, and communications.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees, providing guidance and counseling regarding various types of leaves of absence, including medical, family, and disability leaves.
  • Review and process leave requests from employees and relevant stakeholders to manage the leave process effectively and ensure Workday is updated accordingly for tracking.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to identify system enhancements, resolve technical issues, and optimize HR processes through automation.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the documentation and distribution of HR-related materials, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide timely assistance to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures, identifying areas for streamlining and efficiency gains.
  • Stay up-to-date with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices and policies are compliant.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to review, develop, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or a similar HR Operations role
  • Demonstrated success in managing annual benefit events (open enrollment, 401k audits, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of HR Operations processes, policies, and best practices
  • Workday experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
