Imagen Technologies is a high growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed, treated, and managed at their primary care appointment (vs. having to refer out to hospitals, imaging centers and other slow and expensive options). Today, we’ve built an AI-enabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests, immediate results, and immediate next steps – all in a single Primary Care appointment. For example: through our platform, women across the U.S. are now receiving comprehensive breast imaging, results, and specialist-driven next steps at their local Primary Care office, condensing a multi-month diagnostic journey into 60 minutes.

With over $160m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. - from 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023, to 20+ states and 1.5M patients in 2024. By 2026, we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

We’re looking for a talented Engagement Director who will be responsible for ensuring the success of Imagen’s largest existing customers and supporting the expansion of Imagen’s relationships with those customers. This role will cultivate strong relationships with leaders across the spectrum at each customer and ensure they find value in the work that Imagen does for them. The ideal candidate knows how to manage relationships both internally and externally to promote strong long-term alignment and customer satisfaction. This role requires 30-50% travel, driven by the size and complexity of your customer portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customers find value in Imagen’s solutions and work with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that could impact customer perception, ultimately driving clinically-appropriate utilization of Imagen’s services and therefore converting bookings (sales) to revenue for Imagen
  • Coordinate across Imagen’s departments both during new implementations and once a customer is fully implemented to ensure we rapidly and effectively respond to customer needs
  • Develop in-depth strategic and operational understanding of existing customers at the market and individual clinic level, and provide analytical and advisory support to leaders as they look to improve operations, drive growth and achieve short and long-term objectives
  • Manage executive and line-level relationships with assigned customers
  • Oversee 1-2 dedicated Program Managers for your customers and partner closely with Customer Engagement, Workflow, and Partnerships / Commercial leads to drive success with your customers, developing ad hoc analyses and presentations to demonstrate the value of Imagen’s services
  • Become an expert on the business models of Imagen and your assigned customers, positioning you as a strong consultative partner to internal and external teams.
  • Identify, cultivate and coordinate with the sales team to close expansion opportunities within your assigned customers
  • Gather and synthesize market intelligence in support of improving product, operations, sales, marketing, and other related functions.

Qualifications:

  • Track record of successfully managing and growing customer accounts, routinely achieving low customer turnover and top 10% in customer satisfaction and growth measures
  • Prior success in developing and executing strategies to build strong customer relationships in complex healthcare environments that require a deep knowledge of your product and industry to successfully serve in a consultative capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of primary care and multi-specialty clinical operations, as well as deep knowledge and experience in value-based care
  • Motivated by customer satisfaction and tangible improvements in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) both for Imagen and for your customers
  • Strong process orientation - can successfully bring together and manage the internal expertise necessary to help drive a customer issue to closure or a sale to completion.
  • Strong command of sales and operational best-practices, and have been tested in zero-defect environments that demand excellence.
  • You will not stop until you succeed -- you are motivated by aligning the goals of the customer and Imagen for the win.
  • At least 5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a direct customer relationship management and/or sales role
  • Track record of managing a team of 1-2 direct reports
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
