Job Summary
Elements Connect is looking for a Director of Executive IT Support to oversee the IT Team. You will be in charge of a team of IT Specialists and manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. An ideal candidate should have solid technical background and experience in implementing IT systems. This person should also have the ability to manage and motivate team members in addition to their IT and computer systems knowledge.
Responsibilities
Oversees IT operations
Leads a team of 3 IT Specialists
Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure
Identifies and eliminates security risks
Analyzes business requirements for IT needs and systems
Works to increase user satisfaction
Evaluates IT operations with regard to established goals
Communicates within the IT team and across departments as needed
Assesses need for new equipment and software
Prepares progress and budget reports for upper management
Hires new members of IT staff as needed
Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors
Manages company help desk
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar
8+ years experience working in IT operations
3+ years experience overseeing IT teams and projects
Must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated and reliable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to demonstrate leadership skills and take ownership of customer issues reported
Excellent client-facing/customer service skills
Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
Strong computer skills needed to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to customer issues
