Job Summary

The Rootist is looking for a passionate, creative, relationship-savvy marketer to join our growing team as Influencer Relations and Events Manager. This team member will be responsible for developing and executing influencer campaigns and maintaining key influencer relationships on behalf of The Rootist. In addition, this person will work with external agencies to bring our brand event strategy to life, concepting and developing unique, experiential events that are on brand and buzz-worthy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage end-to-end influencer campaigns including framing the campaign and program strategy.
  • Develop and maintain gifting list and unique influencer outreach programs across multiple categories in beauty and beyond.
  • Responsibly represent the brand and manage relationships with all influencer partners and talent managers.
  • Recommend social content marketing plans to be executed in partnership with influencers.
  • Partner with Sephora marketing team to plan and execute store level events.
  • Identify potential brand partnerships and develop strategies, events, and execute partnership IRL and online.

  • An advocate for the brand both internally and externally.  You’ll work cross-functionally with many teams and externally with agency partners and retail partners, always as a trusted and inspirational voice of the brand.
  • Willing to dig in and get your hands dirty. We run lean and nimble, and everyone on the team reaches high into strategy and low into execution. 
  • Passionate about sustainability. Always asking ‘why’ and questioning the status quo in areas where we can be more sustainable as a brand.

Requirements

  • 5 years of marketing experience with a focus on social and influencer marketing.
  • Experience using tools and platforms designed to manage end to end influencer campaigns.
  • Experience in beauty industry or fashion industry, with experience in hair category a bonus.
