Primary Job Functions

Data Engineer

  • Collaborate with product design and engineering to develop an understanding of the needs
  • Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
  • Enable smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  • Keep current with technical and industry developments
  • Build tools to automate data collection

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and programming languages such as Python or Java.

  • Experience in the power industry
  • Expertise with the python programming stack (python, numpy, pandas, etc.)

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
  • Ability to work independently as a member of a dynamic development team
  • 5 years experience in data science
  • Agile, able to handle rapidly changing requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

The national pay range for this role is $130,000 - $168,000 / year and is considered a Level P3 – Career Professional Individual Contributor role. This pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in an annual discretionary bonus.
