Job Summary: 

The project manager role will manage and execute multiple time-sensitive projects to meet business objectives of the IHerb Inventory Management & Planning team.  Reporting to the VP of the department, this position assumes primary accountability for assigned projects and manages projects from concept to deployment to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.  Responsibilities  encompass the overall management of projects including timeline adherence, internal and external communications, risk assessment, and project scope. This position requires strong leadership, analytical and communication skills with advanced knowledge of excel for data analytics.

Job Expectations:

  • Work closely with COO and VP, Inventory Management & Planning to participate in continuous improvement activities of IHerb’s Inventory Management & Planning teams through defining key goals, value adds, and implementation plans followed by execution of improvement projects

  • Identify, drive and develop best practices, efficiencies and project workflows

  • Develop project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required

  • Perform day-to-day management of project development activities to include but not limited to; prioritizing, resolving issues and discrepancies as they surface

  • Collaborate and synchronize project development goals with applicable stakeholders

  • Ensure that projects meet deadlines through the negotiation of time commitments and resource allocation with various departments, and escalate issues that may impact successful completion and implementation

  • Conduct data collection and analysis before, during and after project completion

  • Train IHerb team members to manage ongoing operations of implemented solutions when necessary

  • Actively participate and lead in well-formulated recommendations, identifying new opportunities and initiating action plans to improve business performance and processes

  • Engage in company wide projects from time to time

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt industry best practices in terms of business processes and technology solutions.

  • Strong business acumen within an enterprise planning function and other supply chain execution functions, including transportation planning, manufacturing planning, and warehouse management.

  • Strong research, data analysis, and problem visualization skills

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams effectively

  • Functional knowledge of planning, forecasting, purchasing execution and supplier relationship management, along with related supply chain areas

  • Understanding of the use of technology tools that enable demand and supply planning 

  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Google Office Suite and multiple communication apps

  • High proficiency in developing concise google slide deck presentations

 

 

Experience Requirements:

Requires a minimum of  two (2) years of project management experience.  Experience managing complex projects and an applied understanding of business process workflows preferred.

 

Work EnvironmentThe WFH environment is primary, office is optional.  Other factors are:

 

  • Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions

  • Professional, yet casual work environment

  • Professional, private space for video meetings required

  • Ability to work extended hours as required


The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
