Job Summary: 

The Development Operations (DevOps) Manager is in charge of all information technology infrastructure and shared services, including all data center and disaster recovery sites, physical and virtual servers, storage and backup infrastructure, Database administration, wireless, local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), SQL databases, and all telecommunications. 

Job Expectations:

  • Accountable for all problems, change configuration, and release management activities for his/her area of responsibility
  • Conceptualize, plan and deploy technology in a strategic and/or tactical manner is required
  • Deploy any application created by the development team to the production environment
  • Ensure the delivery of IT support to all users globally
  • Plan, organize, and deliver excellent IT support that includes procurement, incident management, and service request fulfillment and escalation management for the end user computing environment
  • Consistently deliver quality customer support; understand and document customer needs
  • Maintain customer satisfaction with IT Services
  • Serve the technology needs of the employee via incident management, problem management reporting, change control verification, procurement, and IT service consultation and enhancements
  • Direct a team of IT Services management including hiring, team building, goal setting, performance management, and mentoring
  • Successfully motivate and empower the staff in the successful performance of their tasks and responsibilities
  • Enforce and monitor compliance for corporate standards and policies across the team
  • Ensure delivery of projects according to commitments made to IT and/or business management
  • Define the set of IT services and document them with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure response time commitments and resolution time objectives are met
  • Uphold a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule as necessary

Equipment Knowledge: 

  • Infrastructure experience including LAN/WAN, VMWare, VDI, Cisco Routers/Switches, and Cisco UCS Servers as well as  experience in Microsoft Active Directory, SQL server, Storage, Disaster Recovery and BCP 
  • Understanding of core internet technologies - DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Local office computing environment, including file servers and domain controllers
  • Video conferencing and unified communications technology

Experience Requirements:

  • Generally, requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT management experience. 
  • At least four plus years of experience with coordinating third-party service providers and vendors

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
