Job Summary:

The Senior Group Product Manager will oversee and provide direction on the customer and user experience initiatives for our pages.  They will help analyze data and develop a roadmap to help deliver an optimal localized experience for our global customers. This role will manage and provide guidance to Product Managers and work closely with other domains to help oversee the end-to-end user journey.

Job Expectations:

  • Oversee and provide guidance to the Product Team on the user experiences
  • Help to summarize and analyze findings from user research and customer behavior patterns and create actionable plans to optimize a localized experience for our global customers
  • Assist in creating the product roadmap, oversee projects/tasks and communicate updates with all relevant stakeholders and team members
  • Construct a project charter and carry out a communication plan
  • Create complex schedules using project management software
  • Lead a team in deconstruction of a project into a work breakdown structure (WBS)
  •  Proficient at gathering both internal and external data and turn it into decision making tools
  • Trend analysis of products to plan for strategic enhancements based on current usage
  • Act as the primary owner of relationships with peer domain teams for inbound/outbound dependencies, between product/platform/service partners, and between stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Prioritize and document product requirements, user stories and designs for feature enhancements for existing and new application modules while considering the needs of customers, competitive market offerings and our overall company strategy

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, CX team, UX designers, UX Researchers and IT to understand requirements, define the scope of work and align on vision of the digital experience strategy
  • Take an active role in the estimation, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospective meetings
  • Hire, manage, and mentor Product Managers in business platform domains

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

   Required:     

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Well versed in e-commerce/web driven companies and understands how to meet customer expectations in different platforms
  • Experience in leading Business Analysis, Business Process Design and Application Development (SDLC)
  •  Experience completing Buy vs Build analysis
  • Identify market opportunities and complete competitive analysis
  • Experience developing product strategy with a strong aptitude for determining optimal market positioning
  • Experience with managing a moderately complex product portfolio
  • Can establish and track KPIs that demonstrate the overall health of a product portfolio
  • Has lead the development and launch of moderately complex products
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI requirements
  • Wireframing basic requirements, mock up the general direction
  • Customer first mentality with the knowledge to work with internal groups to make their websites more user friendly
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and must work well with others

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

Generally, requires six (6) to eight (8) years of Product Management experience

Education Requirements:

 Bachelor’s Degree Required. A Computer Science degree is highly preferred

Judgment/Reasoning Ability:  Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy.  Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms.  Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day.  The Team Member may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.  Proper lifting techniques required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
