Job Summary: 

iHerb is looking for a Technical product manager to oversee and steer the direction for one of iHerb’s core platforms, the Orders platform. The Orders platform is responsible for maintaining the customer’s order history at iHerb along with all related activities such as Return authorization and labels, order modifications and fraud detection. iHerb is operating in over 100 countries and has millions of global customers who rely on it for natural and wellness products to cater to their personal needs.

 

We are looking for someone with experience in managing consumer experiences on ecommerce platforms and can help us scale our Orders platform to the next level. We are looking for the candidate to drive the product strategy and vision for our orders pages, which is core to our customers successfully re-purchasing from our website.   

 

Job Expectations:

 

The Orders technical product manager will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for the Orders platform. They will be responsible to work with cross-functional teams such as engineering, QA, program management and others to deliver on these roadmap milestones. They will be expected to create the appropriate metrics to gauge the success of the projects and deliverables. Here are a few of the expectations from this role:

  • Product management vision and strategy for the iHerb Orders pages

  • Expertise in best practices and standards for product delivery across cross functional teams

  • Oversee the vision, development, and delivery of our orders page roadmap

  • Effectively communicate, drive alignment, and successfully execute on our product development vision and roadmap

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   Required:

  • Solid communication skills

  • Manage the product vision and roadmap from ideation, product requirements gathering, and delivery

  • Strong data analytics and A/B testing knowledge for consumer and platform products 

  • Strong knowledge of establishing KPIs and success metrics to drive product development teams 

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes

  • Experience effectively working with remote teams

  • Experience working in both public and startup environments

  • Experience with communication platforms and growth initiatives

  • Versatile product leader who can thrive in a dynamic environment

 

Equipment Knowledge: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

 

Experience Requirements:

Generally, requires a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with product management

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Technical background is preferred. MBA is a plus.
