Your Opportunity & Responsibility:
The Product Manager shepherds product investment from conceive through to retirement, and is responsible for the overall market success of offerings within their authority. You will be responsible for IFS solutions for defense manufacturers and support providers. Focused primarily "outwardly" on understanding market needs and communicating those needs within the business, as a Product Manager you will engage with users, define market messaging, and defining new solution requirements. You will be ultimately responsible for the P&L of your offering and ensuring that the capabilities produced by the company meet market needs.
As a Defense Solutions Product Manager at IFS you will be expected to:
- Drive and define the Value Proposition for an offering based on clearly defined target segments, audiences, values and pain points.
- Drive and define the Customer Journey and Lifecycle
- Drive roadmap and investment prioritization within the Defense Solutions area
- Base work and decisions on deep understanding for market, trends, technology, partners and competitors
- Work with the development team to ensure strategies, roadmaps and investment priorities are adopted and addressed by development plans
- Work with Product Marketing to ensure value propositions are adopted into market messaging and positioning
- Work with Monetization & Operations teams to ensure capabilities are properly monetized and ready to take to market
- Act as spokesperson and evangelist for the Defense Solution area

To be successful:
To be a successful Product Manager at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but to get even further we would like you to have a relevant academic degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.), with a specialization in engineering, computer science, logistics, business and/or relevant experience.
We are looking for a person with deep knowledge of the business operations and software needs of defense contractors managing in-service support programs. Proven experience in product management is a great asset.
