IFS is a high growth, global high-tech employer with a suite of products including the most widely-used aviation maintenance software platform in the world. We have the distinct pleasure of working with a wide range of the world's leading aviation and defense organizations including companies like GE, Saab, BAE Systems, Southwest Airlines, LATAM, and Qantas – to design, develop, and deliver mission critical enterprise software.

Our employees come to work every day knowing that they are doing something that really matters – they help make maintenance more predictable, and reliable for the global aviation and defense community. In the last few years, our Aviation and Defense headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, has seen tremendous growth and has now surpassed 300 employees serving global markets.

As a Technical Writer at IFS, you are fully integrated within a cross functional Agile team in a highly collaborative environment. Your colleagues (product owner, testers, developers) are readily available to pair with, or to work through questions and problems on a white-board. You directly contribute to the success of our business by applying your skills and experience to the planning, design and development of persona-driven, XML based, product content. You engage with your fellow writers to contribute to the continuous improvement of the writing process and standards, with a goal to maintain superior quality, consistency, and effective content management.
