This role helps drive the capital formation strategy and execution for the firm’s technology focused direct investment funds, specifically growth equity, digital infrastructure, and technology enabled real estate. This position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders in the firm and will have ongoing client interaction through the support of Relationship Managers on the team, which may increase over time based on success in the role and increasing scale of the firm.


What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with developing detailed marketing plans and work with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of fundraises and investor management.
  • Own the investor pipeline across all direct investment strategies including growth equity, digital infrastructure, and technology enabled real estate.
  • Centralized capital markets data collection and reporting for the firm, including creating internal thought leadership to prepare the firm for future capital formation.
  • Develop the fundraising calendar, push forward robust roadshow schedules, and monitor the timeline of the overall fundraise.
  • Drive proactive engagement opportunities with prospects globally to expand relevance & strategic reach of client base.
  • Creating solutions for investors by brainstorming unique and entrepreneurial solutions for investors.
  • Support senior management and fund teams in the creation & launching of new fund platforms.
  • Systematically leverage LP base to support portfolio companies and inform investment activities.


Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, investor relations, or fundraising in private markets industry.
  • Experience at a private markets firm or a private markets placement firm.
  • Self-Starter with strong sense of ownership, accountability, and desire to help drive multiple business units to market leadership.
  • Passionate about technology and its impact across all sectors.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.


Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $130,000 - $145,000 together with the benefits listed above.
