The Senior Compliance Analyst will assist with a variety of aspects of our investment advisory compliance program which is an SEC-registered investment adviser in our San Francisco office.  This individual will assist in managing the day-to-day implementation, testing and execution of the compliance program which adheres to Rule 206(4)-7 of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940. The firm’s legal and compliance program covers family office clients as well as onshore and offshore private funds.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Materially assist in the preparation of regulatory filings (Form ADV, Form PF, Forms 13G, 13H and 13F, Treasury Filings, CFTC filings, state “Blue Sky” filings and others).
  • Support the team in implementing policies and procedures to address new business practices or regulatory changes (e.g., CTA, etc.).
  • Assist with administration of the firm's Code of Ethics, including trade approvals, trade review, affirmation approvals, quarterly transaction reporting and annual attestations.
  • Conduct new hire compliance training and assist with compliance onboarding of new hires.
  • Review and test various compliance procedures and controls.
  • Assist with preparation and completion of annual compliance risk assessment and the annual compliance review.
  • Assist with the review of marketing materials and other external communications or events across all business lines.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 2+ years experience at: (i) an investment adviser working with family office clients and/or private investment funds; (ii) a securities compliance consulting firm; or (iii) a law firm working on relevant matters.
  • Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and its related rules and regulations, as well as broad knowledge of compliance programs.
  • Confident with technology and comfortable working through technical issues.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $110,000 – $120,000 together with a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits program.
