About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Strategic Finance Associate to support iCapital’s growth by contributing to our sales and revenue planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and data analytics capabilities. This role will be highly collaborative and impactful, with opportunities to communicate findings to senior leadership and expand responsibilities as the company grows. The ideal candidate will specifically support the sales and go-to-market strategies for iCapital Solutions, a new tech-driven line of business for the company. The candidate will bring knowledge of financial modeling, problem solving using data, an aptitude for learning new software tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics that drive strategic business decisions.
- Develop and manage Tableau dashboards for internal and external reporting of product volumes and platform usage.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Biz Ops to prepare monthly reporting of iCapital Solutions. volume/subscriptions, P&L, headcount, hiring plans, platform usage, etc.
- Act as business partner and analytical support to senior leadership, providing financial modeling and performance reporting, including ad-hoc data analyses and strategic financial models for new business opportunities (e.g., market sizing, product prioritization, unit economics, cohort analyses, ROI of new geographies, channels, or product enhancements).
- Develop cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams across iCapital to review client opportunities, hiring and investment requirements, and growth initiatives.
- Assist with development and updating of operating and forecast model for iCapital Solutions, including input to Adaptive Insights, tie-out with NetSuite, and consolidation with Corporate FP&A.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting or big tech
- Bachelor’s degree demonstrating excellent academic performance
- Data-driven thinker who can break down complex problems into models that can be built and then explained to senior business leaders
- Organized and detail-oriented process manager who can prioritize and communicate clearly with executives
- Highly collaborative relationship builder who can communicate with people at all levels and areas of the organization
- Extensive experience using Excel and developing financial models and quantitative analyses
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau or Lookr) and/or project management software (Monday or Asana) is a plus
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We offer most employees the flexibility to work in the office three to four days and remotely for the remainder of the week. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
