What you'll do

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team that can help us reach our innovative company goals. Your past experience managing recruiters and developing university and community related early career programs will help us build innovative ways to support new emerging talent optimally and efficiently. This is a high-impact role and your day to day job will be liaising with our recruiters to help them develop as individuals and colleagues. This role will assist the Head of Talent Acquisition in developing recruiting strategies, influencing business partners, supporting new developing programs for identifying early talent and delivering results.

Your focus will be to encourage, empower and develop our team. Your leadership will ensure our commitments, performance and standards of excellence to overall hiring needs are met. This position needs to manage ambiguity and constant change because our industry and company are ever evolving.

  • Inspire, develop and engage a distributed, North America-based recruitment team
  • Bring prior Talent Acquisition management experience of mid sized groups (5-12 employees) to enable the recruiters success 
  • Established experience working to develop robust community outreach and university relations programs
  • Use data to establish influence in all levels and decisions
  • Build solid relationships with recruitment staff that instills trust, and provides continuous improvement
  • Execute recruiting strategies and engage new pools of diverse and under-represented talent for emerging technology, engineering, transportation industries
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with senior leaders across our organization
  • Champion an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Continue to build our employer branding proposition through internal partnerships, hosted events and multiple external channels
  • Continuously look at process improvement through the use of data to create efficiencies 
  • Support compliance with employment laws and maintain vital tracking, including OFCCP compliance

What you bring to the role

  • Demonstrated success leading a team of 5 or more recruiters who are working across different engineering and corporate subject areas 
  • Experienced in managing successful teams located in multiple locations
  • Proven track record  in full-cycle, early career, university relations recruiting and community outreach
  • Phenomenal partnership and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about influencing, inspiring and mentoring!
  • Solid understanding of the US talent market including competition, supply & demand trends and skill based landscape
  • A broad knowledge and experience with external recruiting resources including social recruiting and community-based organizations
  • A willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment that sometimes does not fall within a standard work day
  • Experience leading a combination of internal and RPO team members is preferred
  • International recruitment management experience are a plus
