ABOUT THE ROLE 

As the Head of Brand and Product Marketing, you will lead all branding and product marketing initiatives to drive awareness, growth, and engagement across our products and markets. This role combines strategic leadership in branding with the in-depth market positioning of our education products. You will manage cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and product marketing managers, to craft cohesive brand narratives, develop go-to-market strategies, and ensure product success.

Our Brand & Product Marketing team is focused on ensuring a deep understanding of our customers and market and positioning our products to best serve them. Before product launches, the team owns positioning, messaging, gathering customer feedback, and the overall go-to-market strategy internally or in alignment with external partnered institutions. Post-product launch, the team drives sales enablement and focuses on driving demand, adoption, and the overall success of our products marketed worldwide. 

This team supports marketing and admissions teams by developing thought leadership messaging, engaging with thought leaders to contribute to top-of-funnel marketing activities, and providing content that will be the backbone for Performance Marketing and strategic Partnership teams to use in sustaining the inbound and outbound marketing efforts across the funnel. 

To excel in this role, you should be an organised, ambitious, self-motivated, and proactive problem solver. We’re looking for a strategic thinker, an excellent project manager, someone with high standards and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Strategy: Build and refine the architecture of the HyperionDev brand and its sub-brands, including defining brand vision, equity, and value propositions.

Product Marketing: Lead the product marketing team to understand customer insights, create positioning strategies, and craft messaging for product launches.

Campaign Management: Conceptualize and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns for product launches, events, and brand awareness, including website, CRM, social media, and PR.

Creative Direction: Oversee the creative development process, ensuring all visual and written content aligns with the brand's identity and vision, from concept through execution across digital, print, and multimedia platforms. Collaborate with designers, writers, and external agencies to deliver cohesive, innovative, and impactful campaigns.

Market Research: Conduct market and audience research to refine our approach and maintain competitive positioning.

Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with teams across admissions, product, and careers to align strategies, ensure brand consistency, and support revenue generation.

Content Strategy: Oversee content marketing efforts for performance marketing and sales enablement, including managing content calendars and ensuring alignment across all channels.

Events and Activations: Plan and execute events, roadshows, and activations that strengthen the brand and engage key audiences.

Team Management: Hire, lead, and mentor a team of marketers, copywriters, and designers. Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum

  • At least 7 years of marketing experience in brand management and product marketing, ideally within high-growth industries such as EdTech, consumer technology, or SaaS.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale consumer marketing campaigns, including at an international level.
  • Strong project management skills with a history of leading cross-functional teams, and managing marketing projects from concept to execution.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and PR strategies, including campaign metrics, paid media, and influencer collaborations.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Trello) and agile methodologies (sprint management with marketers and developers).
  • Management of external suppliers, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Experience with content calendars and scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, including detailed knowledge of website data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and proficiency in creating reports on key website and social media metrics.
