About you…

You get tech.  Specifically, FinTech.  You’ve got a proven track record in driving and delivering campaigns for FinTech clients at both local and global levels and of all scales and sizes.  You’ll have worked across all dimensions of FinTech, from BasS to Embedded Finance and Payment Solutions, helping those businesses build, shape and protect their reputation for commercial advantage.

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our global team as a Senior Vice President, FinTech. 

The Senior Vice President role sits on our UK Senior Leadership Team, working with a wider group of Directors who lead our account teams, impacting culture, implementing processes, and participating in high-level strategic discussions.   

This role owns the overall success and growth of our FinTech offering globally. You will have global responsibility for all FinTech new business opportunities, manage a portfolio of FinTech clients, build out new products and service offerings, manage resourcing across our FinTech accounts & new business opportunities, and participate in recruiting talent that aligns with the future goals of the business.  

Accountabilities

Business leadership

  • Hunt for and lead the development of new business opportunities in FinTech, from prospecting and pitching to onboarding new clients and driving revenue growth
  • Responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of business totaling $2.5m across geographies
  • Elevate the visibility of Hotwire as a trusted advisor in the FinTech space through thought leadership activities, speaking engagements and participation in industry events and conferences

Client Leadership

  • Owning client relationships and leading accounts to deliver outstanding service to clients, identifying business pains and ensuring they are understood by teams
  • Anticipating what’s next, helping clients and our team stay ahead of potential issues and leverage opportunities
  • Build and drive client teams to deliver best in class results for clients, leveraging Hotwire’s full suite of products, and data capabilities
  • Owning client strategy within your teams that will meet and exceed client business goals and objectives
  • Developing strong client relationships beyond the day-to-day work, supporting them to succeed in their own career goals
  • Establishing KPIs and metrics to measure the success of comms campaigns, providing regular performance reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including client services, creative and digital to deliver integrated campaigns that resonate with targeted audiences and drive measurable outcomes

People Leadership

  • Demonstrating account and organizational leadership that sets the standard for your teams
  • Partnering with other leaders and team members’ projects and initiatives which move the business forward
  • Managing team members, creating paths for success and career development
  • Contributing to the success of the business by mentoring and developing skills across the agency – specifically around FinTech and sectoral knowledge
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients in the UK and around the world
  • Fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the organisation

 You’ll Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in PR & comms, with a proven track record of success in the FinTech industry
  • Demonstrable agency experience is essential; some experience in-house is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the FinTech industry, its regulatory environment, and emerging trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build & maintain client relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing comms teams
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of business globally totaling over $2M annually
  • A proven track record of successfully developing and implementing comms strategies in the FinTech space
  • An existing network in the tech industry – from clients and connections to talent and media
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire for continuous learning
  • Strong storytelling skills and confidence in presenting ideas and providing counsel to internal and external audience
  • Experience managing teams and developing career paths for your direct reports
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to driving positive change in the FinTech industry
