This individual performs customer service and stocking duties related to eCommerce and shipping that contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the shipping department by pulling product and packaging for daily shipments.
  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments.
  • Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
  • Ensure shipments arrive on time and to the correct destination
  • Take detailed photos, weighing and taking dimensions.
  • Editing and saving digital images, uploading photos and product information to e-bay website.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
  • Maintain eCommerce customer relationships by helping to process client quotations
  • and transactions.
  • Assist Manager with special requests (i.e. expedited orders, sample requests, etc.)
  • Ensure all processes are completed in the absence of the Manager.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.

  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Must be familiar with key internet sites including E-bay and Amazon.
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn.

Additional requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • Forklift Certification

  • General Physical Requirements:

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (includes inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
