The Main Event: What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced and proactive People Manager to join our dynamic team in Madrid. You will oversee HR operations in Madrid and Valencia leading a team of two people and implementing effective HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a thriving and engaged workplace culture. This role is pivotal in driving people-centric initiatives to support our growing team.
- HR Operations Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day HR functions in Madrid and Valencia, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with company goals.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support a high-performance work environment.
- Employee Engagement: Partner with leadership to create and execute engagement programs, team-building activities, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Office Management: Oversee the operational needs of the offices in Madrid and Valencia, ensuring they are conducive to a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Labor Law Compliance: Provide expert guidance on Spanish labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices and processes.
- Performance Management: Support the leadership team in designing and implementing performance appraisal systems and development plans.
- Conflict Resolution: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing workplace issues and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
The Perfect Match: What you bring
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of Spanish labor laws and HR compliance.
- Compensation & Benefits Management: Demonstrated experience in designing and managing compensation and benefits programs.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Multisite Management: Ability to manage HR operations across multiple locations.
