Are you interested in championing a product that makes work better? The science is clear: happier employees are more productive and stay at companies longer—everyone wins!
Who we are
We’re Humu — we build products based in behavioral science that help people grow and thrive at work. In short, we’re here to make work better.
Humu nudges people towards better ways of working, unlocking the potential of individuals, teams, and organizations. We enable companies to drive positive change by deploying personalized, scientifically-backed suggestions called nudges to employees. These nudges help people build better habits, work smarter and connect with their colleagues.
The role:
As a Senior Product Designer at Humu, you’ll be part of a small team that helps to define not only what we build, but how we build it. We’re a multidisciplinary group with an emphasis on product, but with a healthy interest in marketing, brand, video, illustration and even crafting our physical spaces.
What you’ll do:
Dig deep and challenge assumptions to make sure we’re solving the right problem and not compromising for the “standard” solution
Design flows and experiences that help make complex human and scientific concepts simple and understandable at a glance
Collaborate closely with engineering, research and science teams to understand and build for a diverse set of users across all types of work environments
Give and receive thoughtful feedback that helps improve our work, both to fellow designers and while collaborating across roles
Qualifications:
5 - 99 years of experience designing mobile and web applications
A portfolio that shows your ability to attack design problems and generate solutions rooted in user needs
Strong visual craft and attention to detail
The ability to facilitate product discussions, explain design rationale and present work to groups of all sizes
A growth and learning mindset that helps you meet new challenges and stretch beyond your core competencies
Experience moving quickly — establishing timelines and delivering high-quality work on schedule
Passion and process for developing new design solutions to challenge industry standards and “the way things have always been done”
