What you get to do every day 

  • Develop new payroll partners by sourcing, identifying, qualifying, and closing partnership agreements with local and regional payroll/HCM providers. Bringing in National Director of Business Development - HCM as needed.
  • Initiate, research, present, and sign partnerships with service bureaus that use payroll software in which Human Interest has a National Agreement.
  • Collaborate closely with the National Director of Business Development - HCM  and the Partner Account Managers to develop payroll company partner prospects.
  • Research and find local and regional payroll/HCM partners.
  • Assist NDBD in creating national relationships and follow up.
  • Build strategic relationships payroll companies to educate on Human Interest’s value proposition for them and their clients
  • Generate referral and revenue share agreements for payroll partners 
  • Provide operational support across the entire partner organization when needed
  • Utilize various reporting and tracking techniques to obtain key information, (salesforce and DocuSign)

What you bring to the role 

  • Payroll/HCM services industry and partnership background strongly preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills virtually and in-person
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (Sales, Business Development and Account Management) particularly in the HCM space. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional skills - the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse technical and non-technical team members
  • Passion for personal finances and helping others achieve financial wellness - particularly wanting to help bridge the retirement crisis gap worldwide 
  • Strong organizational skills; you are able to stay self-motivated and have strong time management skills while staying attentive to detail
  • Communicate with confidence, professionalism and empathy over the phone and through email
  • Self-starter, ability to lead innovative, entrepreneurial efforts and drive for excellence 
  • Remain composed in high-stress situations and convey empathy for our customers and their situation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Technically savvy and familiarity using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth environment
