What you get to do every day

  • Serve as the primary contact between the client and the company.
  • Work Closely with Admins on plan-level issues that impact multiple participants and plan relationships.
  •  As a Retention Specialist you will work accounts as an advocate to financial independence; by retaining, educating and building strong working relationships with Human Interests clients and cross functionally within the organization.
  • Become a stakeholder in the future of our organization - making suggestions that continually improve the way we retain assets at Human Interest.
  • Frame conversations strategically and overcome obstacles.

What you will accomplish

  • Document the process and workflow for the Client Admins to help bridge gaps in procedures and identify areas of opportunity. 
  • Will be responsible for improving and maintaining standard operating procedural documentation in addition to creating ROI on accomplishments.
  • Build reporting to showcase daily, weekly, and monthly retention efforts.
  • Identify gaps that impact the execution of products and customer retention.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert and an Advocate for HI and our clients that will meet AND exceed customer expectations by relentlessly striving to provide unparalleled customer service! We are in it for the customer.

What you bring to the role

  • 3-5 years of Financial 401(k) Industry experience 
  • Call center experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years proven track record of retaining clients
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated team building, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex clients
