Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.
We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.
Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Your Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Club Sports product team. This team isfocused on our suite of products that enable an athlete's journey––registration to signing day. You'll work on our products that span from recruitment tools to our video analysis tools, while directly contributing toward Hudl’s purpose of giving every athlete the shot they deserve.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll:
- Own Hudl’s club volleyball roadmap. You’ll work with your cross-functional team to create a coherent product strategy and vision, connecting it to the wider company strategy. Our club products include recruiting, highlights, video, and data platforms. You’ll help determine what success looks like for your teams and products, and work across functions and departments to achieve that success.
- Advocate for the product. You’ll establish mutual respect and trust with each stakeholder, including business unit leadership. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers and our business needs. You’ll motivate and inspire your squad, release team and any others who contribute to the product.
- Foster transformation. You’ll strive for a better collaboration between teams, challenging the status quo when necessary. You’ll lead a squad in making decisions that balance cost, timeline and customer benefit. You’ll also work with marketing, sales, and customer support to develop and support go-to-market plans.
We'd like to hire someone for this role who lives near our offices in Lincoln, Omaha or Lexington, but we're also open to remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, Dallas or Phoenix.
Must-Haves
- Experience. You have a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, and more than three years of experience in product management with a strong track record of shipping customer-facing software products.
- A communicator. You’re comfortable presenting and can effectively share your product roadmap and high level strategy.
- Cross-functional relationship management skills. You understand the importance of building strong relationships with product, sales, marketing, customer support and others. You can get buy-in on your ideas without resorting to command-and-control tactics.
- Naturally curious. You never stop learning—you’re eager for knowledge and new ideas, and can show how that improves the way you work. You love building prototypes, testing, learning and evolving.
- Pragmatic. You know how to balance the needs of the customer with business goals. You understand business models, forecasts, budgets and can bring it all together for your product. You make your decisions by diving deep into the data whenever possible, but also know when to take calculated leaps of faith.
- Collaborative. You seek to understand the strengths of those around you and have made each team you’ve worked on better. You relish tackling hard problems with a high-performing and cross-functional squad.
- Market knowledge. You have either participated, coached or are a parent of a club sports athlete. You either know the sport of volleyball or are eager to learn.
- A proven people leader. You’ve spent at least two years managing 1-2 product managers, and coaching a high performing team to deliver against the roadmap. You care deeply about your team and want to help them be successful. You’re also able to roll up your sleeves and help get the job done.
Nice-to-Haves
- Industry experience. You’ve spent time at a high-growth SaaS company specifically building data analysis, video, and/or recruiting platforms.
- Trend awareness. You pay attention to what’s happening in the sports industry. You’re able to adapt to market/tech trends when needed, and can guide your teams to do the same.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
