Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Ready to join us?

Your Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful and enthusiastic Senior UX Designer to join our Hardware business unit, which is focused on defining the future of automated capture and wearable technology. Our software-enabled hardware cameras make it easier for sports teams to capture reliable, quality video, and our wearable technology unlocks human performance data for elite teams.

You will be a key voice on a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team and help ensure we’re not only delivering great design experiences, but also having great experiences designing them.

  • Connected product experiences. You’ll design UI/UX solutions that will account for the customer’s journey within a connected software and hardware ecosystem, partnering closely with industrial designers and content designers to craft intuitive user flows.
  • Customer-focused. You’ll shape, conduct and translate user research to help the team understand latent needs beyond just the basics of what users say they wantdigging deeper into the “why” behind user feedback. You’ll leverage user feedback into actionable user insights that will help drive physical and digital product experience strategy and design.
  • Visual and verbal storytelling. You’ll craft and communicate compelling concepts that are forward-facing, differentiated, and relevant to customer and business needs.
  • Add clarity to ambiguous problem spaces. You’ll tease out the important characteristics of users, their environments, and market expectations to support prioritized and intuitive experiences.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. By forming close partnerships with multi-disciplinary counterparts in engineering, product, design, scrum, and quality, you’ll help define requirements and deliver clear and focused digital user experiences.
  • Design process, quality and delivery. You’ll advocate for tactility, accessibility, customer needs and design excellence, shepherding your project to release.  After delivering on-time solutions, you’ll measure and be accountable for how well those solutions address design  and product objectives.

If you’re a passionate and experienced UX designer looking to make a significant impact in the sports technology space, we’d love to hear from you.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must-Haves

  • Strong communicator. You thrive in a collaborative environment, fostering open and honest communication. You have excellent presentation skills and can confidently sell ideas based on solid rationale and objectives from cross-functional teams. You’re comfortable being respectfully blunt when giving and receiving feedback and critique.
  • Research and insights experience. You have proven experience in planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, translating insights into actionable product and design outcomes. You are adept at using various research methodologies to inform and align on design decisions, optimizing end user experience.
  • Connected product design background. You’re familiar with designing user experiences for connected devices, with both physical and digital touchpoints, and understand how to optimize user interfaces and experiences for seamless interaction between touchpoints.
  • Iterative prototyping. You’re proficient at using low and high fidelity prototyping tools and wireframing techniques based on the needs of the project.
  • Problem-solving skills. You have the ability to think critically and holistically about user interactions, and can address complex design challenges and provide innovative solutions that factor technical, business and design constraints into decision-making.
  • Organizational skills: You can assess the appropriate level of design and research necessary to achieve objectives, with a plan to reach final deliverables.
  • Technical proficiency. You’ve used modern component-based design tools (e.g., Figma and Adobe Creative suite) and tools like Miro to workshop concepts and drive alignment with remote stakeholders.
  • A robust portfolio. You’re able to showcase a variety of projects that demonstrate your expertise in UX design, including examples of user flows, wireframes, prototypes and final design solutions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Global exposure. You’ve successfully partnered with globally distributed and interdisciplinary design teams to deliver quality experiences. You’ve also designed for a global audience and know how to incorporate cultural considerations in UX design.
  • Sports enthusiast. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the sports technology industry.
  • NPI/Agile familiarity. You’ve worked on teams that use NPI (New Product Introduction) and/or Scrum/Agile product delivery models in a multi-disciplinary working environment.
  • Growth mindset. You’re committed to staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and design best practices, and have a strong desire to continuously learn and evolve.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
