We are hiring an experienced Sales Manager for the Elite Business Unit, to grow our direct, digital and B2C sales segment in EMEA. This role is focused on EMEA individual customers in the sports industry (non-professional clubs/teams, coaches, athletes, scouts, sport agents). This leader will be managing Inside AEs and SDRs, expanding inbound and outbound lead generation activities, as well as both, direct sales to individuals, and our Digital SaaS offerings. Sales Managers are expected to oversee a sales POD including sales development and all revenue lines in their territories, assuring New Annual Recurring Revenue growth, as well as qualifying and converting inbound and outbound leads, before assigning them to the right team. In addition, this role will be responsible for critical decision-making across our digital and online sales strategy, sales marketing campaigns for digital offerings, career development and coaching of the reps in their teams. 

Hudl has a flexible location policy. Once we can safely return to our offices, we'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: Barcelona or Milan.

Management Responsibilities 

  • Direct responsibility for $3+ million in ARR targets for your teams, with hyper-growth expected in future years. Must drive change to meet goals of 30%+ ARR growth per year and be responsible for overall customer success and retention targets.
  • Immediate supervisor of approximately 7+ people among junior Inside AEs & SDRs.
  • As the Sales team continues to grow, the level of management may evolve and expand

Education, Experience and languages

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Post-graduate experience or MBA is preferred. 
  • 3+ Years of transactional and Inside sales management experience in multiple countries would be required for this role. Previous Manager-level experience and management of medium sales teams (8-10 people) and ARR targets over $3M is a must. 
  • Fluency in at least 2 European languages and in English is a must.


This role would require up to 20% travel time.

You Are

  • Experienced. You have at least 3+ years of Digital SaaS sales & sales development experience, selling online SaaS offerings to B2C customers, Agents, Scouts and/or Small enterprise customers. 3+ years of leadership track record managing other leaders, hiring and scaling inside sales teams. You have been constantly overachieving goals in Inside or Digital SaaS sales at international scale.
  • Knowledgeable. A high level of systems knowledge is required for success in this role. This person must be able to use Salesforce and Slack professionally, as well as he/she will need to navigate and/or learn using softwares like Looker, SalesLoft, Outreach, Chorus, Hubspot and any other similar systems used by the teams.
  • A Coach. Effective coaching skills are imperative for a Sales Manager. They must be comfortable in coaching their teams, managers, reps, account managers and SDRs. Coaching will occur daily in this role, both in the office and in the field.
  • An Inspiration. This person must be able to inspire theirs and the broader sales team on the goals of the department and company. He/she must create buy-in and cast the vision of the sales team. 
  • Creative. This person must consistently add value by thinking outside the box to level-up the teams, increase growth rates or lower costs. Examples could be fine-tuning current processes, online campaigns, bundles, improving efficiencies across the team or finding new markets or methods to produce revenue.
  • A High-Integrity Character - The character and actions of this person must never be in question. Decisions must be made to benefit Hudl and the larger sales team with Hudl’s long-term vision and company values in mind.

You Will

  • Lead multiple Inside Sales AEs and SDRs in order to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Direct sales activities within the assigned regions, sports, verticals markets.
  • Review KPIs, pacing and overall performance and provide actionable feedback to reps, including career development & coaching of direct reports.
  • Build outbound sales strategies and campaigns to grow online and remote sales as well as in order to improve lead generation across your regions, in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Disagree and Commit - Decisions must be made that don’t always align with personal preferences. This person must be able to acknowledge these disagreements and state their position, but ultimately buy-in and commit to the final decision.
  • Drive Accountability - This person must be able to hold their direct reports, outside stakeholders and themselves accountable to a high performance level and make appropriate adjustments when those expectations are not met.
  • Be Respectfully blunt - Providing impactful feedback is not a switch that can be flipped overnight. Direct feedback alone isn’t enough. The feedback must be actionable to produce a change in results.
  • Eliminate Roadblocks - This person will be responsible for eliminating roadblocks that are preventing sales or decreasing efficiency across the team. Conflict resolution is not about finding a middle ground, but making decisive decisions to resolve conflict and move the team forward.
