HubSpot Media is seeking a creatively-talented and dynamic Producer/Host with senior-level marketing experience to join our team and help lead the creation of engaging, high-quality educational tutorial content for the Marketing YouTube platform. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketer who understands the strategic intersection of content creation, audience engagement, and platform optimization. You will be responsible for producing, researching, writing, hosting, and lightly editing both short-form and long-form video content.

The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a strong on-camera presence, deep expertise in marketing strategies, and a thorough understanding of YouTube’s content dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production

  • Plan, develop, and produce educational how-to tutorials for the YouTube platform.
  • Collaborate with team members to create both short-form (YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos tailored to the platform’s audience and algorithm.
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro for light editing and quality checks on videos.

Research and Writing

  • Conduct in-depth research to create accurate, well-informed, and engaging scripts and outlines for tutorials.
  • Develop content ideas that align with audience interests, marketing trends, and YouTube best practices for educational content.

On-Camera Hosting

  • Serve as the on-camera host, delivering clear, engaging, and relatable explanations and tutorials.
  • Bring energy, charisma, and authority to the content while maintaining an approachable tone for viewers.

Platform Strategy

  • Stay updated on the latest YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and platform best practices to ensure content is optimized for performance.
  • Leverage your marketing expertise to develop effective thumbnails, titles, and descriptions that maximize click-through rates and viewer engagement.

Collaboration and Workflow Management

  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and graphic designers to ensure cohesive, polished content.
  • Manage production timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience producing, hosting, and writing video content, preferably for YouTube or similar platforms (portfolio/showreel required).
  • Strong on-camera presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for light editing (basic trimming, color correction, audio syncing, etc.).
  • Senior-level marketing experience, with a demonstrated ability to craft content strategies that align with marketing goals and audience insights.
  • Expertise in researching and creating accurate, engaging, and audience-friendly educational content.
  • Familiarity with YouTube’s algorithm, SEO, and best practices for optimizing content performance.
  • Creative mindset and the ability to brainstorm unique and impactful content ideas.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience in video production and thumbnail/graphic design.
  • Strong creative writing skills.
  • Excellent researcher.

Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually
