Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will play a leading role in strategizing and implementing HSG marketing and business development initiatives. In conjunction with the Management Committee, Administrative Partner, and external communications team, the marketing manager will have hands-on responsibility for coordinating all aspects of the firm’s marketing and branding efforts including website and social-media management, new-business presentations, conference and event planning, award submissions, industry rankings and surveys, and new CRM software.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the firm’s external website and intranet, ensuring timely updates
- Draft and publish content for firm’s website including attorney bios and news stories
- Draft and finalize press releases, social media posts etc., in conjunction with external communications firm.
- Oversee the firm brochure and pitch template, including updates and any future redesign projects
- Assist with business development projects, including developing and customizing brochures (both on-demand and proactively anticipating future needs) in conjunction with external communications team, supporting pitch materials, working with partners to research leads
- Manage firm contact list and new CRM
- Spearhead firm award submissions and profiles, including drafting of submission, soliciting comments from attorneys, collecting references, organizing photo shoots
- Facilitate award and event activities and attendance (including coordinating ad creation)
- Manage industry rankings and survey submissions., i.e., Chambers Associate initiatives including organizing associate interviews and surveys, scheduling partner interviews and surveys, and completing firm data forms.
- Develop and manage marketing budget
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in a professional services environment
- Law firm marketing experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines in high performance environment
- Scrupulous attention to detail in maintaining all marketing data
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, CRM, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat required
- Ability to navigate social media platforms
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000
