As an IT Administrator you will take ownership in managing our numerous systems and the hardware lifecycle for our locations in Rotterdam and Paris, this role is perfect for a proactive communicative problem-solver who is ready to manage and streamline IT processes. The team
You will join the People Ops department which consists of 8 team members focusing on HR, Recruitment and Facility Management areas. We work closely with each other, in order to make the team member's journey from recruitment to HR and through the lifecycle as great as we can, providing an incredible experience! This means that we share ownership of our scope and you will need to be open to work on a wide range of responsibilities besides your IT responsibilities. You will work on many topics that touch the facility management & HR scope in two locations.
Your role & impact
- Manage and optimise Google Workspace, Slack, and 1Password for smooth company use
- Oversee hardware lifecycle: acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning
- Handle team member onboarding/offboarding, ensuring timely setup and retrieval of hardware/software
- Provide IT support for Mac and Windows, troubleshooting issues efficiently
- Manage meeting room tech setup (Google Meet) for hybrid meetings and other office management related topics
- Liaise with software vendors, handling contracts and SLAs
- Keep the systems up to date (MDM tools, updates, security etc.)
- Maintain clear IT process documentation
- Improve IT processes for quick problem-solving
- Work as a self starter as the sole IT member, prioritising tasks effectively
- Maintain accurate asset registry
Your profile
- 3-4 years of relevant experience (working within start-up / scale up is a plus)
- You are living in or nearby Rotterdam and work from our Rotterdam office at least 3 to 4 days per week and you are comfortable travelling to our location in Paris
- Able to manage IT projects & supplier negotiations
- Experience with managing Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Confluence
- Experience with managing MDM, 1Password, Mac & Windows in a corporate environment
- Familiar with industry standards for information security
- Excellent & confident communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Comfortable enforcing policies and working in a team
- Proactive problem solving skills and self starter
