The team 

You will join the Finance department and be part of the Finance Operations team, a dedicated and hard-working (and fun) team which consists of 4 members who report to the Finance Operations Lead. 

The team plays a crucial role in managing our customers' financial transactions from start to finish. Their meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach to efficiency contribute significantly to maintaining positive relationships with our customers and ensuring the overall financial health of the company.

 

Your role & impact 

You will be the Payment and Order-to-Cash Specialist in the Finance Operations team! You will be responsible for managing payments to our customers and overseeing the end-to-end order-to-cash process. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage and facilitate payments to our customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee the entire order-to-cash process, from order placement to payment receipt, to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial teams to address any issues in the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize and streamline the order-to-cash process.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to minimize discrepancies and improve cash flow.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management on key metrics. 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in payment processing, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash management.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and payment systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with customers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with structured ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or NAV are advantageous.
