Looking to break into the online marketing field? Love solving problems and really LOVE excel? If you want to get your start in marketing and are willing to get your hands dirty on a team working at sprint speed, this is the position for you. This position will be exposed to a range of tasks that will help our department function better. From here we would expect to move you into a marketing coordinator or even affiliate manager role depending on your aptitudes. There is a clear path to grow if you have the skill and work ethic to do so.
What you will do:
Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues
Present regular analysis reports including number of affiliate partners recruited, conversion rates, sales generated and commissions earned
Answer tickets submitted by our affiliates
Keep up to date on Affiliate Industry trends and developments
Effectively coordinate with other team members and departments
What you need for this position:
The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously over a variety of mediums.
The willingness to embrace and understand new concepts.
Ability to learn rapidly.
Strong organizational, analytical, presentation and problem solving skills.
Ability to take on multiple projects at the same time.
The ability to understand numbers and trends and develop action plans.
Understanding and knowledge of additional online marketing channels (PPC, SEO, email marketing, media buys, etc.) to be able to assist and guide affiliates would be a big plus.
Google Analytics experience a plus.
Willingness to work odd hours when the job requires.
What experience we prefer you had for this position:
BS / BA in Marketing, Business or related field Preferred.
Management of an affiliate program generating revenue or payouts to affiliates in excess of $100,000 per month.
