Summary/Overview

We are seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to spearhead the connection and operation of diverse systems, guaranteeing seamless collaboration between software and hardware elements. In this pivotal role, you will strategize, design, and execute integration plans to enhance organizational efficiency and data transmission. Your proficiency lies in building new and bridging the gap between connecting, utilizing, and optimizing enterprise software, by fostering best-in-class communication and data interchange, and ensuring integrated solutions align with business needs and standards. This team member will be critical in filling the gap to develop integrations with internal and 3rd party vendors including but not limited to Splunk, Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Confluence, and more. Collaborating closely with teams across Platform/System, Backend/Data, Frontend, Product, Attack, Technical Support Engineering (TSE), and Sales Engineering (SE), you will drive cohesive integration efforts to achieve optimal operational synergy.

  • Designing and implementing integration solutions to connect disparate systems, enable setup of VMs, and manage codebases to include the H3-CLI and H3 OVA.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrations between Horizion3.ai and 3rd-party software including but not limited to PlexTrac, Splunk, Jira, Slack, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and more.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and execute system requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining system integration architecture and documentation.
  • Conducting integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure system compatibility and stability.
  • Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements to enhance functionality.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security during the data transfer process between systems.
  • Configuring and maintaining middleware and other integration tools.
  • Providing technical support and guidance for integration-related issues to IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in integration practices.
  • Working with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure successful system integration.
  • Documenting integration processes and training users on new system features and interactions.

Competencies 

  • 10+ years of experience in software application integration experience.
  • Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and use effective judgment in prioritization and time management.
  • Creative, self-motivated, highly energetic, detail and results-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving ability. 
  • Strong influence, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Expert understanding and experience with application integrations.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication. 
  • Subject matter expert on integration architecture and documentation.

Required Education/Experience

  • Advanced skills in Bash scripting and Python programming are essential for developing scripts, tools, and APIs.
  • Expert-level experience with GraphQL in developing and using APIs.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, practices, and debugging of connectivity to ensure secure and efficient API integrations.
  • Proven experience in integrating various APIs and developing API-driven solutions for both internal and external stakeholders/users.
  • Experience working in multi-tenant cloud SaaS application environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Knowledge in DevOps automation tools such as Terraform, leveraging them for effective infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, adept at utilizing their services for seamless integration and deployment.
  • Experience with SQL or similar, capable of leveraging database management systems for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation within integration workflows.

Travel Required 

We are a fully remote company, and this job may require up to 5-10% of travel to be successful. Job-related travel expenses are reviewed and must be approved by your manager.

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:

  • Base salary range: $170,000 - $238,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
  • Additional compensation: This role may also be eligible for performance bonuses, equity options, and other benefits which will be discussed during the interview process
