Summary:
As a Horizon3AI Offensive Security Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing attack content, integrating attack tools, and contributing to the improvement of our product's offensive cyber security capabilities. We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, and highly energetic individual with a passion for offensive cyber security, software development, and product architecture. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and results-oriented approach will be essential in driving the success of our Attack Team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate new attack content into our product to enhance offensive security capabilities.
- Monitor production operations, identify errors, and missed opportunities, and create Jira bug tickets to ensure continuous improvement.
- Integrate and develop open-source and in-house attack tools and techniques to bolster the product's effectiveness.
- Take ownership of and resolve bugs related to the attack content you have created.
- Test, maintain, and improve code quality to meet high standards of performance and reliability.
- Adhere to and enhance technical and developmental processes within the Attack Team to streamline operations.
- Manage concurrent initiatives, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate excellent judgment in time management.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges in offensive security.
- Exhibit strong influence, negotiation, and relationship management skills to collaborate with other teams effectively.
- Contribute to solution design and flow, leveraging your expertise as a subject matter expert.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of platform design and flow to provide valuable insights and guidance.
- Take up supervisory responsibilities as needed for specific projects or team initiatives.

Education/Experience:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the United States
- Knowledge or awareness of multiple operating systems, including Kali, Ubuntu, and Windows.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and related services, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with databases like Neo4j and Postgresql.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Ruby, and LUA.
- Experience with technologies used within the team, such as GitLab CI, Docker, and Sonarcube.
- Integration of existing public exploits and development of new methods for validating vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of the Standard of Good Practice for Information Security.
Preferences:
- Cybersecurity-related certifications/designations, such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), and Offensive Security Expert Penetration Tester (OSEP).
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business administration, commerce, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or significant relevant industry experience.
- Extensive architectural management experience.
- Exposure and/or experience with cybersecurity industry standards and trends.
Travel: This is a fully remote position, but occasional job-related travel may be required, up to 5%. All travel expenses must be reviewed and approved by your manager.

Compensation Disclosure:
In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
- Base salary range: $136,400 - 195,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
- Additional compensation: This role may also be eligible for performance bonuses, equity options, and other benefits which will be discussed during the interview process.
