Horace Mann is seeking a School District Benefit Coordinator responsible for multiple school district relationships, workflows, and recordkeeping processes, and educates agents on Worksite Division services, regulatory provisions, and processes. The position is open to hybrid and must live around the Addison, TX office.
Responsibilities:
Customize enrollment and service support to each school district client.
Apply independent thinking, creative resolutions, and on-the-spot decisions to assure customer satisfaction and ease of doing business.
Continually improve efficiency, increase growth in new groups, and reduce expenses.
Strong foundational knowledge of flexible benefits IRS section 125 tax law guidelines.
Support production and completion of Worksite Division proposals to prospective school districts.
Support renewal of existing groups with third-party administrators, including installing additional services or changes to group plan documentation.
Administer Horace Mann ACH claims payment process and billing for service fees.
Provide quality-control checks with school district clients, with an emphasis on working with third-party administrators and internal partners.
Develop and maintain detailed, technical documented processing and workflow procedures.
Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Must be detail oriented.
Requires limited travel – 5%.
