DESCRIPTION

Provides requirements elicitation and design for small to medium sized business projects and/or enhancements.

Ability to analyze changes or issues. Experience in generating business and/or system process documentation. Experience in identifying and designing business and/or system improvements.

General knowledge of software development life cycle and project life cycle principles.

Operating under the guidance of more senior level resources will be responsible for the following:*

Carry out procedures to ensure that all information technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements.

* Liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.*

Assist with the creation of the business case.*

Plan and monitor project deliverables.*

Perform gap analysis.*

Elicit functional and non-functional requirements.*

Requirements analysis and design.*

Translate, simplify and organize requirements.*

Requirements management and communication.*

Design, document and maintain business and/or system processes.*

Identify and design business/system improvement opportunities.*

Issue analysis. 

 

Requirements:*

Bachelor degree in technology or engineering related filed or equivalent experience.*

2+ year's previous experience in either a quality assurance, business or support role.*

BA Professional Certification course work (ECBA, CBAP, CCBA, PBA).*

Advances job knowledge to next level by participating in educational opportunities, cross-training, reading professional publications.*

Experience working in the Financial Services Industry, specifically as it relates to Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, and/or Retirement is preferred.
