Honor is looking for a  Human Resources Director who will be directly responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the HR function, including onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement and retention, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, training and development, manager guidance, and compliance. The company has experienced rapid growth and needs a hands-on senior HR manager to help scale the HR department for even more growth. This position will work closely with company executives to support company growth and deliver superb service to all employees.



  • Manage benefits and leave program and administration
  • Support managers with performance review and exit processes
  • Consult with managers and provide daily HR guidance
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Manage performance review program and compensation planning
  • Partner with various functions to make sure HR activities are coordinated across the org
  • Make recommendations to executive management on organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Recommend, evaluate and participate in staff development for the organization
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance
  • Supervise HR specialist and oversee all HR generalist responsibilities
  • Supervise HQ office manager and ensure the smooth functioning of the San Francisco office
  • Keep a pulse on employee attitudes and overall satisfaction at the company

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an HR manager or above
  • Ability to manage, grow, and mentor team of HR and admin professionals
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of HR management principles and best practices
  • Business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Diligence and firmness with high ethical standards
  • Bachelor's degree
