Honor is looking for a dedicated and amazing Care Pro Trainer to join our team and train Care Pros, who are the heart and soul of Honor. This trainer will deliver partner agency orientations and trainings throughout the US, ensuring we maintain quality while preparing our Care Pros for success on our platform. In addition, this position will also support the recruiting team by screening Care Pro applicants and work on special projects to help improve the overall on-boarding experience.  The ideal candidate resides in California, within 50 miles of the Bay Area/Sacramento or LA/OC area and near a major airport.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person training/orientation to newly on-boarded Care Pros throughout the US
  • Create a wonderful and warm onboarding experience for Care Pros
  • Promote the value and mission of Honor to Care Pros, with the goal of attracting and retaining the best talent
  • Collaborate with training and recruiting teams as part of our ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Follow up and pursue qualified candidates and screen candidates as part of our recruiting processes
  • Provide feedback to improve the hiring process to shorten the time to hire, increase the number of qualified applicants who accept their offer from Honor, and maintain a high standard of quality

Skills and experience

  • Extensive overnight travel is required.  Ability to travel 5+ days per week is mandatory.
  • 2-4 years training experience required
  • CNA, LVN, HHA or healthcare profession experience preferred but not required
  • The ability to manage high stress situations with ease and positivity
  • Self starter that can take ownership and goals
  • Exceptional attention to detail and loves to solve problems
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Confidence and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
