What You’ll Do

 

As a National Partnerships Manager on the National Partnerships team, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact. Your scope starts with developing meaningful relationships with existing key contact points within our National Partnership ecosystem. From there, you will work alongside our Director of National Partnerships to identify opportunities to further enhance our existing relationships and expand to new Partners.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans that leverage partnerships to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, or enhance product offerings. You’ll develop quick and lasting relationships with Honeycomb’s carrier relationship contacts, principals and producers, including on-site and in-office visits to deepen connections. As support opportunities arise, you’ll roll up your sleeves to handle what’s addressable while triaging a variety of other action items to a passionate cross-functional team that includes Regional Sales Managers, Underwriters, and Customer Service Representatives. 

In addition to your actions accelerating agency success, you will also play a key role in our sales and product development feedback loop, helping us to ensure that we retain sustainable product-market fit while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position is only relevant to candidates in Texas.

What You’ll Do

  • Work across our range of national partnership segments - nationwide brokerages, wholesalers, franchises, cluster groups, aggregators, and more - to foster growth and improve reciprocal success 
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives ranging from new insurance products to quoting platform innovation, underwriting alignment, and marketing strategy
  • Work closely with our Director of National Partnerships to develop new Partners and entirely new verticals under the National Partnership umbrella
  • Conduct deep discovery meetings with carrier relationship contacts to uncover and capitalize on partnership opportunities within their existing organization
  • Explore new partnership opportunities through existing partner discovery meetings
  • Coordinate conference roadmap and drive Honeycomb presence at relevant industry and partner events
  • Analyze partner performance using information like performance analytics, conversion rates, and lead volumes and leverage the insights to create and lead high impact initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve partner issues of both technical and transactional nature
  • Solicit feedback from key contacts and producers as to how our technology platform and insurance coverages can better meet their needs, and work with our product team to make those enhancements a reality
  • Parlay Producer relationships and value-adds into additional sales opportunities
  • Earn variable sales compensation for meeting and exceeding growth, customer satisfaction, and other quantifiable targets

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of Agency Partnerships experience
  • Deep understanding of a wide range of agency distribution channels 
  • Must thrive in a fast paced, time sensitive, cross functional environment and be able to prioritize tasks and projects accordingly
  • Demonstrated excellence in supporting customers through the full digital B2B product journey (implementation, product education, technical support, billing, etc.)
  • A knack for disqualifying misaligned prospective partners while prioritizing efforts on new partners that will maximize growth
  • Aptitude to resolve customer issues of both technical and transactional nature
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment - effectively adapting to changes, collaborative problem solving, excellent follow-through, and collaboration
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity - eager to learn constantly, bring authentic self to work and ready to embrace diverse ways of thinking and working
  • Experience in or knowledge of the insurance industry experience, particularly working with agents/brokers of commercial Property & Casualty and Habitational
  • Travel up to 25% of the time including in-office days at the Austin location
