The Role
Hone is looking for a Senior Reporting Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Develop and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards that directly affect business decisions and associated documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in different departments to define requirements and translate the requirements into dashboards.
- Clean, transform, and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Jupyter notebooks, etc.
- Effectively communicate insights and findings through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Very comfortable with SQL - query writing, procedures, and functions, for generating reports and fielding data requests
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for building pivot tables, reports, etc
- Experience with creating and deploying reports with at least one of the following BI tools:
- PowerBI
- Looker
- Tableau
- Experience with version control tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps
Salary Range
Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected hiring salary for this position is: $85,000 - $120,000.
