HomeToGo is looking for a Senior Manager Group Accounting (m/f/d). As part of the Group Accounting team, your strategic priority will be to enhance and oversee all group accounting-related processes to ensure our capital market compliance. You will closely collaborate with our central accounting team in Berlin as well as the local accounting teams of our subsidiaries currently in Europe and the United States to ensure alignment with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a candidate with relevant technical group accounting expertise, who shows pragmatism, uses strong communication skills to easily build up internal relationships, and has a passion for working in a fast-paced, international environment.
How you’ll add value:
- Support in the enhancement of our group-wide accounting processes and guidelines, i.e. through the end-to-end integration of new companies to the scope of consolidation.
- Ensure timeliness of all involved parties to prepare the monthly/quarterly/annually consolidated financial statements according to IFRS.
- Develop and manage financial reports for board meetings, investor relations and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Be a contact for accounting and auditing issues for our internal teams, subsidiaries, auditors, and other external parties with regard to consolidation and the accounting guidelines used.
- Continuously help to improve and automate internal (control) processes to provide accurate and timely financial overviews.
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
- Have solid practical experience in group accounting according to IFRS, ideally with at least a 4-year work experience in auditing or financial accounting/advisory.
- Have experience with consolidation tools such as LucaNet.
- Possess strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a result-oriented working style.
- Are motivated to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing international environment.
- Are fluent in English and German.
