We are looking for an early career Account Executive to join our fast-growing startup. You will report directly to our VP of Sales. We are looking for someone who has a phenomenal SDR/BDR background and is ready to take the next step in their sales career. The candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, professional, and eager to learn. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to come in early, make an impact, and quickly step into an Account Executive role.

The Account Executive is responsible for leveraging your cold calling and lead generation experience to communicate with potential clients via phone, email, and Linkedin to develop an interest in HiveWatch’s software and generate opportunities with net-new customers You will be the first point of contact for prospects and will have a direct influence on the success of the company through your ability to effectively communicate the HiveWatch value proposition and key market differentiators. To thrive in this role, you will generate your own new business opportunities, keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Focus on generating new customers, qualifying inbound & marketing leads
  • Identify and engage decision-makers within target accounts using outbound outreach tactics such as cold calling, email, and direct mail
  • Establish a consistent, clear, and realistic daily and weekly activity routine aligned to driving business growth
  • Demonstrate leadership and contribute to a strong, collaborative team
  • Position HiveWatch’s value proposition to prospects in a way that accounts for their business’s specific needs and goals
  • Monitor lead processes, metrics, and accelerate pipeline creation
  • Lead virtual demonstrations/ onsite tours of HiveWatch’s GSOC
  • Continuously learn & develop sales skills to grow into future roles

As an Account Executive you will be expected to:

  • Work in the LA Office
  • Have very strong communication & organization skills
  • Lead with HiveWatch’s unique solutions to the customer’s problems, not the product itself or its features
  • Learn the HiveWatch story and be part of the culture
  • Tailor communications to the customers' needs and offer insights that compel them to think differently
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, & Sales on projects that help drive revenue growth
  • Achieve monthly quotas of meetings, demos, and qualified opportunities
  • Come to work every day with a positive attitude, ready to learn, and have fun!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of related experience selling security software,  preferably Security/ Software, in a start-up environment 
  • Experience working with customers, ideally a quota and revenue-generating environment (SDR background okay)
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team environment (coachable)
  • Self-motivated, passionate, competitive, and super organized with a strong desire to succeed and grow as we grow
  • Ability to keep up to date with the technology industry and competitive landscape
  • Has consistently demonstrated a high level of thoughtfulness in previous prospecting efforts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and a team player
  • Curious to learn and constantly improving
