About this role/The opportunity 

We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Planner to play a pivotal role in supporting our expanding Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (pDOOH) advertising team. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in driving our growth within the innovative realm of digital outdoor advertising. Your responsibilities will encompass the full sales cycle, which may include prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and assisting to close deals.  There will be a strong focus on supporting a broader sales team as a subject matter expert (SME) when presenting pDOOH to prospective agencies and clients. The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of digital media, Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) and programmatic advertising. Your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, coupled with your expertise in crafting tailored solutions that align with client objectives, will be key to your success. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven individual who is passionate about the evolving digital landscape and eager to contribute to the growth of our pDOOH initiatives. How You’ll Make an Impact/duties and responsibilities

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital advertising either in outbound sales, or at a media agency, preferably in programmatic
  • Strong knowledge of Out-of-Home / Digital Out-of-Home media
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, DMP, online advertising company or Out-of-Home agency 
  • Programmatic platform familiarity highly preferred
  • Proven ability to take ownership & accountability and act on client objectives in a technical environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to be client facing and present recommendations, and defend strategic recommendations
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers at independent advertising agencies are a plus
  • Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail
  • A passion and curiosity to continue to learn
  • Self starter with a consistent strive for excellence 

What do you need to perform in this job / What you’ll bring to the table

  • Collaborate with and support internal senior sales leads promoting adoption and utilization of pDOOH as part of client campaign strategies. 
  • Work collectively with client services and Ad Ops trading team to deliver on campaign objectives 
  • Communicate the value of the Hivestack media buying platform by walking through detailed demonstrations of the product
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
  • Take lead in responding to RFP’s or new inner agency opportunities,
  • Accurately manage and communicate monthly forecasts and pipeline
