Job Description:

The Z/OS Systems Programmer will be responsible for the installation, Upgrades, testing and maintenance of operating systems software.
The candidate needs to possess a strong understanding of z/OS and related components.
The candidate must have knowledge on latest mainframe trends.
The candidate should be well versed in:
Maintaining and installing IBM, Hitachi and third party software products.
Preparing technical documentation.
Debugging software problems.
Monitoring systems and software.

Responsibilities:

Z/OS Operation / Administration
Z/OS support including problem analysis and resolution
Collaborate and liaise with other units and provide technical support of the mainframe infrastructure.
Significant involvement in upgrade of operating systems to new release
Significant involvement in upgrade of third party software products to new releases.
Significant involvement in Proof of concept [POCs], proof of technology[POTs].

Qualifications/Requirements:

Should have at least 6 years of progressive hands-on experience in IBM Z and z/OS.
