The team

 

The FPX Configuration and Product Modeling Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting PRODUCT DATA MODELS for use in FPX CPQ and SALES FORCE CRM systems. The position requires an individual with strong proficiency in product data modeling. Works collaboratively with technical staff and cross functional teams to develop and deploy configuration solutions to business requirements in support of the functional business areas.

The role

 

  • Gather, analyze, interpret business rules and requirements
  • Analyze, understand product specifications and configuration rules
  • Perform hands on data modeling by writing configuration rules and logic
  • Create, update and support product data models;
  • Provide production support of CPQ configurators to business users
  • Lead technical design, documentation, and development efforts
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to team members and assistance with investigating and correcting data modeling and configuration issues
  • Work with internal IT staff to address configuration issues and incidents.

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • BS degree in Mathematics and/or Computer Science
  • Required U.S. Citizen and/or Green Card Holder
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Business Analyst on IT projects
  • 3-5 years’ experience in data modeling and logic-driven algorithms using FPX PDM (Product Data Manager) application
  • 3-5 years’ experience in develop and debug complex Boolean logic and rules for data modeling using the PDM
  • Java, Java Script and XML skills preferred
  • Understanding of guided selling and concepts
  • Understanding of FPX CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) application;
  • General understanding of software systems, CRM, and ERP applications
  • Basic knowledge of servers, databases, and client-side technology, augmented with solid logical and systems thinking
  • Deadline-oriented, disciplined, and self-managed
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Effective working with global, multicultural teams
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, problem solving and customer support.
