What you'll be doing 

Part of the Global Talent Enablement Function and reporting to a Global L&D Manager in EMEA, you will be responsible for the delivery of professional development courses for our global employees, from entry to executive level.  All in alignment with Hitachi Digital L&D standards, policies, and practices, while ensuring regional learning needs are met, and local practices are adhered to.

1) Training Facilitation and Delivery (including some design)

  • Delivery of globally consistent professional learning courses from our global curriculum for employees in India, including new college graduates and people managers.
  • Training for people managers including a 12-part manager curriculum incorporating a coaching mindset course and Clifton Strengths®. 
  • Delivery of locally required learning programs as needed (may include customer services, professional development skills, and occasional facilitation of other activities e.g. team building).
  • Collaboration with Global Professional Development team on design and development of learning programs as needed.
  • Ensuring quality of training delivery by gathering learner feedback and providing feedback to trainers and facilitators and Instructional Design Team.
  • Ensuring relevant training events are added to our learning management system to enable enrolment and tracking.
  • Ensuring the coordination of all logistics and planning for learning events.
  • Actively promoting the use of self-paced learning content from our on-demand learning platform Percipio.
  • Actively promoting the use of our internal SharePoint site for L&D information and guidance.

2) Responding to inquiries from local employees/learners, and provides guidance on potential solutions for their development needs.

3) Ensuring planning and conducting of the New Employee Orientation program for new joins in India.

4) Providing Communication as required in alignment with Global L&D communications.

 

What you bring to the team

  • Coaching skills and experience, ideally alongside the attainment of at least one of these certifications: ICF (International Coaching Federation), any 360-degree feedback, personality style instruments such as DiSC, MBTI, Kiersey Temperaments, True Colors), Gallup Strengths®.
  • Training facilitation excellence with experience leading learning events for all levels, from entry to executive level, including soft skills training/facilitation for people managers.
  • Familiar with use of digital tools for delivery of interactive virtual training, ideally MS Teams
  • MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Instructional design experience that relates to designing and developing courses for live in-person or virtually delivered training.
  • Experience in conducting Learning needs identification and analysis
  • Knowledge of training methodologies
  • Master’s degree, in education, psychology or similar subject preferred, but not essential
