The Team

The Global Supply Chain Group oversees the meticulous processing of hardware and software orders at our distribution centers. Each order is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our customers, with a steadfast commitment to delivering excellence in quality and service. The Warehouse department is pivotal, managing precise stock storage, retrieval, and dispatch. Orders, whether for spare parts or complete products, are fulfilled meticulously. Spare parts are gathered and dispatched individually, while complete products undergo detailed assembly, configuration, and packaging to meet high quality and customer satisfaction standards.

 

The Role

Together with another team leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, with a specific focus on managing a selected group of employees in the team, particularly in absence and performance management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate: Ensure timely and high-quality work completion, monitoring workload and progress.
  • Leadership & Planning: Ensure adequate staffing, and coordinate standby and overtime.
  • Absence Management: Handle absence reports, follow up on short- and medium-term absences, reporting to Supervisor and HR.
  • Performance Management: Translate organisational goals into individual objectives, monitor progress, conduct final evaluations, and communicate feedback.
  • Administration: Maintain HR systems, address IT, payroll, or HR inquiries, and communicate deviations to Supervisor and HR.
  • Collaborate: Assist in operations when workload demands it, ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments.
  • Cross-Departmental Cooperation: Facilitate clear communication and expectations between departments such as Order Management, Warehouse, CTO, and traffic.

 

Requirements:

  • Must already live in Zaltbommel or be able to commute easily.
  • Relevant Experience in warehouse management or similar roles.
  • Strong Sense of Responsibility.
  • Strong Coordinating Ability: Proven track record of effectively managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Cooperative Ability.
  • Constructive Criticism, openness to feedback and willingness to learn.
  • Customer-friendly demeanour with a commitment to providing exceptional service to customers.
