About the job:

As the Operations Manager over Projects you will be responsible for overseeing and driving warehouse improvements and processes across all functional areas. You will be a part of the management team, and be a key stakeholder in building something from the ground up that has a tremendous impact as Hims/Hers grows.

This role is based in Columbus, Ohio and will report to the Director of Operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the operations within all functional areas in the warehouse, the systems that support those functions, and how they interact with one another.
  • Act as the voice of the warehouse in cross-functional project initiatives, ensuring solutions align with operational processes and system requirements. 
  • Push forward active projects by meeting deliverables on time, and maintaining close communication with other team members.
  • Support other team members within the building with accountability for their deliverables related to active projects.
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of multiple interacting fulfillment systems.
  • Support Operations leadership teams and area managers in the identification of  improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure their teams have the tools and products they need to complete their responsibilities in the warehouse.
  • Establish, and maintain coordination of, activities and information sharing with all internal warehouse departments, as well as external offices and partners.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment that’s compliant with all applicable federal and state law regarding the storage of materials, warehouse safety and cleanliness (FDA, OSHA).
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and content by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Constantly seeks ways to improve efficiency, quality & cost control where applicable.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports, attend meetings, and drive company OKRs and KPIs.
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of working experience in Fulfillment, Warehouse or Distribution environment.
  • 5+ years in a Supervisory/Management role.
  • 2+ years of OHSHA safety experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience leading technically complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively train and manage others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within WMS.
  • Six Sigma/ Lean Principle experience
  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs and Gmail, WMS/WCS systems.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership, team building, organizational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to exercise accurate judgement and execute appropriate course of action.

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.  

An estimate of the current salary range is $50,000 - $100,000. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.
