Hill House Home is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Assist with month-end accruals and GL Reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, financial reports and management reports
- Prepare prepayment and amortization schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Embraces a culture of learning and advocacy
- Has lived experiences with people from different backgrounds and diverse teams
- Salary range: $60-63k
