OUR TEAM

We already have some of the biggest and most exciting brands in entertainment as clients – from gaming to esports, music and cinema, to streaming platforms, VR, mobile and travel. We’re building a vibrant and diverse team, that delivers incredible work for amazing brands at the forefront of the entertainment space. We’re recruiting for an Account Manager to join us, with experience in agency and a passion for communications in the entertainment space.

Clients we are working with include:

  • Activision Blizzard – world’s biggest video game publisher, makers of Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, World of Warcraft, and more. Our work includes the UK execution of all major franchise launches, and management of local teams across EMEA
  • Bose – leading audio technology brand; our work includes delivering UK comms for headphone and speaker launches, and supporting partnerships work to tell their ‘Sound is Power’ story
  • Hurtigruten – cruise brand with over 130 years’ experience sailing the coast of Norway. The role of the UK press office includes issuing the latest news from the company, securing media for press trips and generating creative ideas to drive cut through in media


THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the mid-level client relationship and support the Account Director to ensure the client is kept fully up to date with activity on the account, adding value and managing client expectations
  • Become an integral part of the account planning process, contributing to the development and implementation of client projects
  • Passionate storyteller, with a proven ability to develop media strategies and influencer plans, build compelling content ideas for clients, and identify news-hijacking and proactive storytelling opportunities
  • Driving force of campaign delivery, creating timelines and ensuring that the client, partners and the internal team are aware of key milestones and delivery dates
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge in all thing’s social media, and stays up-to-date with social and cultural trends
  • Ability to lead on post project wrap-ups, converting campaign results into an actionable and insightful report which shows the true value of the campaign
  • Excellent understanding of the media landscape, including new media channels and social-first publishers

OUR LONDON OFFICE

Burson employs over 300 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
