OUR TEAM  

We have a new opportunity for a corporate Account Manager in the fast-growing Financial & Professional Services team in London. This dynamic and ambitious group of 17 consultants lead some of our most well-known and biggest accounts.  

The Financial & Professional Services team are a group of sector specialists who can turn their hands to everything comms has to offer. We work on creative consumer campaigns, advocate for new policy, invent original thought leadership, manage influencers, devise content strategies, build press offices and run paid campaigns. We are collaborative and love nothing more than working with specialists across our business to create integrated campaigns for multinational clients.  

We are also obsessed with our sector. We have a passion for pensions, a curiosity for consulting and a penchant for personal finance. You will find us out and about in the City, observing the latest policy ideas, meeting clients and debating what’s next for the global economy.  

We are looking for a B2B PR and campaigns skillset but, as an integrated team, there will be opportunities across consumer PR, social media, content and policy. The right candidate will be intellectually curious, comfortable working with numbers, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a keen business media operator. Agency and financial & professional services experience are both highly desirable, as is experience working with multinational brands. 

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES  

The successful candidate will predominantly work on B2B professional & financial services brands, but there will also be an opportunity to represent household name consumer personal finance brands. The starting clients will include a diverse mix of consultancies and a major international bank. 

The right candidate will have a curious mind, be comfortable learning quickly, forming opinions on breaking news and constructing arguments for clients. They will be interested in the way new technology, sustainability, ethics and policy are affecting the economy and businesses globally.  

We are looking for a self-starter who can take complex client reports, data or insights and turn them into newsworthy pitches, stories and opinions for the media. They will be comfortable leading sell ins and working closely with tier one UK and international media. 

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES  

  • A strong interest in financial & professional services in the UK and globally 
  • Comfortable manipulating client data, insight and reports to create pitches & stories for media 
  • Keen media operator with tier one business journalist relationships  
  • Strong writer, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas in areas such as sustainability, leadership, diversity and finance 
  • Excellent organisational skills, managing complex accounts which span owned, earned and shared content 
  • A proven track record for contributing to high-impact campaigns and proactive approach to new ideas 
  • A tenacious approach to media relations, both through organising press office teams and drumming up media interest  
  • Strong client handling skills, experience in delivering counsel to clients 
  • A team player, looking to learn from the best of our agency specialist and willing to invest time in developing our junior team
